Watchmoor Park

Siren, a leading London design agency, was tasked with updating the building identification signage for Watchmoor Park, a large commercial office development site with a range of office complexes based in Camberley, Surrey.

The brief was to transform the dated block work walls into a more modern solution that resulted in a more crisp white finish to the signage. The site presented difficulties including a challenging double faced `v' shaped wall sign that needed additional attention. The client thought this `v' shaped wall would need demolition before being rebuilt as a single wall.

Siren employed Icon to carry out a full site survey to measure all the walls and determine exact signage requirements. Dimensions were then passed back to Siren to alter artwork to fit the new signage requirements.

Icon came up with the solution of constructing steel framework cages that were lifted up and fitted over the existing walls, securing the framework to the existing walls for additional strength and support. This framework was then clad in white dibond with vinyl livery to face to present the graphic designs created by Siren. This framework and cladding solution also worked for the awkward `v' shaped wall. The use of existing walls kept costs to a minimum as no demolition was required, and also helped to provide the strength and support required for permanent outdoor signage.

The stunning new signage at Watchmoor Park now delivers the modern crisp finish requested by the client, and importantly is more easily identifiable by vehicles moving around the park. The signage following installation was landscaped to finish off.
